Brake, transmission, exhaust and glass work is often done by specialty shops that see the same job dozens of times a week. Brake shops replace pads and rotors the same day and usually inspect for free; transmission shops rebuild or replace automatics and clutches, a multi-day job that deserves a second quote; muffler and exhaust shops weld custom pipes and replace catalytic converters, which in many states must meet emissions rules. Alignment and suspension shops fix pulling, uneven tire wear and worn shocks, and radiator shops handle overheating and cooling-system leaks. Auto glass shops replace windshields, often at your home or office, and recalibrate the driver-assistance cameras mounted behind the glass. Window tinting and car audio shops round out the group.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (718) 993-2828. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, facebook.com.
Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 23 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded transmission shops in Bronx.
Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Bronx is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I don’t usually do reviews but I must give a huge amount of love to Robert, Jose & Charlie. Best customer service I’ve gotten by far. I went to multiple locations regarding the condition of my transmission & they were the only ones to actually CHECK and take time to see what’s wrong & they were nothing but honest and reasonable. Very professional and kind you don’t get that kind of experience everywhere. Thank you guys! 🤍
